Lifeline Vi Alarm Base Unit
The Careline alarm unit has been manufactured by Tunstall, which means that our customers receive the very latest in Telecare technology. The unit is simply plugged into the telephone socket and a power socket. The alarm user's telephone then connects to the back of the unit and that's it, the unit is ready to use. Simply press the red button and our monitoring team will respond, before completing the test call. The unit features a loudspeaker and microphone system to that our customers can communicate clearly with the monitoring team at all times.
MyAmie Pendant
Alongside the alarm unit, our Careline users will also receive the MyAmie Pendant device. This pendant can be worn around the wrist or around the neck, with both attachments included. Great features of this pendant include its waterproof functionality, which is perfect for use in the bathroom. It also has a range of up to 100 metres, which is ideal for use outside in the garden. In an emergency, our Careline users simply push the red button on the pendant and the monitoring team will respond within seconds over the base unit loudspeaker.

Our Careline alarm users are protected by our highly-trained, 24-hour monitoring team. They work 365 days a year to ensure that our customers always have somebody to call for help.
Once the pendant has been pressed, a member of the team will call that alarm user and speak to them through the base unit loudspeaker. They will assess the situation, try to reassure the alarm user and take the appropriate actions.
This commonly involved calling for emergency contacts (friends, family, neighbours) and asking them to attend urgently. If needed, the emergency services will also be contacted by our monitoring team. Medical history will also be passed on to the paramedics to help put them in the best position to help the alarm user.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
