The Careline alarm system has been specially designed for the elderly and disabled people of the West Midlands and others across the whole of the UK. We offer a range of price plans to suit all needs and preferences, and work hard to make our service as affordable as possible.
Our system provided help and reassurance in an hour of need. Help can be arranged with the press of a button which is worn by the alarm user. Our UK based Care Team can then assess the emergency situation and arrange for help in the form of emergency contacts or the emergency services. Emergency contacts are usually friends, family members of neighbours who would be contacted if the alarm system is triggered.

The Careline Package
All alarm users in the West Midlands will receive a base unit and pendant.
Careline Alarm Base Unit
The Careline base unit is a small grey box which allows communication between the alarm user and Care Team. The base unit connects wirelessly with the MyAmie pendant.
MyAmie Pendant
The MyAmie Pendant is a small red button which can be worn around the neck or on the wrist. The pendant is waterproof and has a range of 100 metres from the alarm base unit.
Careline Key Safes
For that added reassurance, we advise all of our alarm users to also purchase a key safe with their Careline alarm package. A key safe is a small and secure metal box which can be attached to the exterior of a property. As the name suggests, the box is a safe place to keep spare keys which can then be accessed through a unique code.
Each of our Key Safes are extremely affordable and allow for emergency contacts to enter the property quickly, efficiently and without causing damage. We have three key safes available here at Careline:
- Supra C500 - Our only police approved key safe, and one of the most secure key safes you can buy within the UK.
- Yale Y500 - A sturdy and convenient key safe from a well known and reputable brand.
- Masterlock Select Access - A quality key safe for a quality price. Weather resistant with a zinc outershell, it's a great choice!

Emergency Contacts
All alarm users will need to have at least one emergency contact on their Careline profile.
24-Hour Care and Support
Each Careline alarm user is protected by our highly-trained monitoring team. Our team are available 24/7, 365 days a year to ensure that help is always available to Careline users.
In an emergency situation, the monitoring team will receive an alert message once the alarm user has pressed their pendant button. Within a matter of seconds, a member of the team will respond and speak with the alarm user over the loudspeaker system on their base unit.
The situation is assessed and the team member will arrange for help. This will include calling for family members, friends and neighbours - otherwise known as emergency contacts. If the alarm user requires medical attention, the monitoring team will also call for the emergency services. Any relevant medical information will also be shared with the paramedics.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
