The Careline Package

Once everything has been plugged in, and a test call has been completed, the base unit will allow the alarm user to speak with our highly-trained team. The monitoring team will use the loudspeaker to assess the user's situation in an emergency, and to also try and reassure them that help is on its way.

The MyAmie Pendant is the device that the user wears, either around their wrist or neck, depending on user's preference. The pendants are waterproof, so they can be worn in the bath or shower to ensure the user is protected at all times. If the user falls or feels unwell they will press the red button, alerting the monitoring team who then speak to the user over the base unit. The stylish pendant also has a long battery life of seven years - with a free replacement sent when required.
Key Safe
For added security in Hereford we recommend that all pendant users purchase a Key Safe. They can be extremely important in emergency situations as it allows for friends, family or the emergency services to access the property more effectively. If the user has a key safe we ask them to share the code with us so that the monitoring team can inform the relevant the person of the code, so that they can get into the property without having to force entry.
Key safes are secure metal boxes that are placed on the outside of your home where you store spare keys. The key safe can only be entered using a unique and safe code.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
