The automatic personal fall alarm is a great way of ensuring that your elderly loved ones can remain living comfortably in their own home. The fall alarm, known as the Vibby Fall Detector, is worn around the wrist or neck. Should the wearer fall whilst wearing their pendant, it will automatically detect the sudden movement and send an alert call through to our 24/7 monitoring centre. The user doesn't need to press anything.
As with our standard pendant, the automatic personal fall alarm comes alongside the alarm's base unit - which can be installed within minutes. It also comes with free next day delivery and is pre-programmed by our team before it's dispatched.

Automatic Personal Fall Alarm Package
Vibby Fall Detector
The Vibby Fall Detector automatically detects a fall and sends an alert message through to our monitoring centre. Confirmation that an alert has been raised will be given by an LED light and vibration.
Much like the standard pendant, the fall alarm pendant is discreet and stylish. It can also be worn in the bath or shower as it is waterproof. If the alarm user feels unwell or is concerned about their security at home, they can still press the help button on their pendant - as they would with our regular pendant button.
If the alarm call was made by accident, or was a false alarm, the user can cover the face of the pendant for around 10 seconds and cancel their call. Alternatively, they can stand up within 20 seconds after the initial fall was detected. The pendant will stop vibrating to confirm the cancellation.
Careline Alarm Base Unit
The automatic personal fall alarm comes alongside the Careline Base Unit. This device is plugged into the user's telephone socket and mains power. The user's telephone is then connected to the base unit via an adaptor provided inside the box.
The base unit has a loudspeaker which is used by the monitoring centre to communicate with the alarm user. The user can then respond using a built-in microphone, to inform them of their situation.
It also has a red help button if this is more convenient for the user at their time of need, as well as a green cancel button should it be a false alarm.

In such an emergency, the monitoring centre will receive an alarm call once the user has pressed their pendant device. Within seconds a member of the team will be dialling through to that user's base unit. They'll assess the situation, before beginning to call the user's emergency contacts.
Emergency contacts are chosen by the user during the setup process, and are usually family members, friends or neighbours. If needed, the emergency services will also be contacted.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
