Our Care Alarms provide 24-hour support with minimal intrusion into the home. Our users receive a little pendant button to wear around their wrist (or neck) and a unit to plug into their telephone line.
Alongside the equipment, all of our Care Alarm users are connected to our highly-trained, 24-hour monitoring team. Our team are on-hand, ready to reassure and help our users in an emergency. They will call for family, friends and neighbours, as well as the emergency services if required.

Care Alarm Base Unit
The base unit for our Care Alarms allows users to communicate with our monitoring team. It has a loudspeaker, used by the monitoring team in emergency, and a built-in microphone for the user to respond.
The base unit simply plugs into the mains power and telephone socket, with the user's telephone connecting to the back of the unit.
Pendant Button
Alongside the base unit, Care Alarm users will receive a little pendant button. This device can be worn around the wrist or neck. It's waterproof for use in the bathroom - a potentially slippery location.
To call for help, day or night, all the user needs to do is press the red button on their pendant. This alerts the monitoring team.

Instant call for help
Our care alarms use the user's existing telephone landline to keep them connected to our monitoring team. Once the user presses the red button on their pendant, or base unit, an alert is raised at the monitoring centre.
The monitoring team will make contact within seconds, using the loudspeaker on the care alarm's base unit. They will talk with the user to determine what type of help is required, and make sure it is on its way within moments.
They will call for family, friends, and/or neighbours (chosen by the user), as well as the emergency services if medial assistance is needed.
If the user is unable to respond, there's no need to panic! If they hear nothing, they will first try the telephone line and then get in touch with the emergency contacts.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
