What is a Key Safe Box?
A key safe box is a secure metal box which can be mounted on the outside of your home. Your door key is securely held inside the box, locked behind a security code chosen by you. You can then share your code with family, friends, carers, and trusted neighbours to grant them access.
The key safe box is securely attached to a brick wall with long screws. These screws are only accessible from within the safe itself, making it nearly impossible to detach from the wall.
The Benefits of a Key Safe Box
The advantage of having a key safe is that you don’t need to make several copies of your keys. Consequently, this code can be shared among carers, family and our life-saving monitoring team. If your care requirements change and you switch provider, simply change your code.
A key safe box can also improve the security of your home, especially if you’re currently hiding spare keys under a doormat or flower pot.

Which Key Safe Box should I choose?
There are three key safe boxes to choose from at Careline365. We have the Supra C500, which is one of only two police-approved key safes in the country. As a result, this safe is one of the most secure and is as resistant to an attack as your domestic front door.
The C500 has a sturdy zinc alloy outer shell, is water and rust resistant. It also has a 12-digit keypad that gives you an astonishing 4,096 possible combinations. The C500 is available for £65.
Next is the Yale Y500 Key Safe Box. It’s developed by well-known security manufacturers Yale, so you can be sure that the device has been created with a great knowledge of the market. The Y500 has a four-digit rolling combination option and features a secure die-cast body. The Y500 is cheaper than the Supra at £32, but it certainly offers reliable security for your home.
Finally, our most affordable key safe box is the MasterLock Select Access Key Safe. This key safe can store up to five keys and features a shutter door to protect combination dials from rust, dirt and grime. Like the Yale, there is a four-digit rolling combination option with a weather-resistant zinc outer shell. You can purchase this key safe today for the small price of £25.
