The Careline Package.
Careline Alarm Base Unit
The alarm's base unit plugs into the telephone socket and mains power. The user's telephone is then connected to the unit, via the adaptor provided. The base unit is the main form of verbal communication between the alarm user and monitoring team. It has a loudspeaker for the monitoring team to use, and a microphone for the alarm user. There is also a help button if an accident takes place close to the unit.
Pendant Button
Each alarm user will wear the stylish pendant button. This little device can be worn around the wrist or neck - it's down to user preference. The pendant has some good little features. For example, it's waterproof and can therefore be used in the bath and shower. A huge range of up to 100 metres means that the user can call for help outside in the garden. If the wearer needs help they simply press the red button.
Fall Detector Package
The Careline Fall Detector package is also available to people living in Macclesfield. This clever device adds an extra layer of security as it automatically detects a fall.
This means that the user doesn't need to worry about pressing any buttons. If they fall and are unable to move, an alarm will still be raised with the monitoring team. Confirmation that an alert has been raised will be given by an LED light and vibration.
Much like the standard pendant button, the fall detector is discreet and stylish. It can also be worn in the bath or shower as it is waterproof. If the alarm user feels unwell or is concerned about their security at home, they can still press the help button on their pendant - as they would with the normal pendant button.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
