The Careline Package
Careline Alarm Base Unit
The Careline base unit allows clear communication between the monitoring team and the alarm user. This is done through a loudspeaker and built-in microphone system. The unit itself can be installed and set-up within a few minutes. It simply needs to be plugged into the telephone socket and a power supply, with the telephone connecting to the back of the base unit using the adapter provided.
Pendant Button
The pendant button is worn around the neck or around the wrist, depending on the alarm user's preference. It is small and stylish, with many alarm users keeping their pendant on even when they leave their home. If they fall or feel unwell, the alarm user simply needs to press the red button. This will alert the monitoring team, who will respond within a few seconds over the base unit.
Vibby Fall Detector
The new Vibby Fall Detector is worn around the neck. The Vibby automatically detects a fall and sends an alert message through to the monitoring centre. Confirmation that an alert has been raised will be given by an LED light and vibration.
Much like the regular pendant, the Vibby is discreet and stylish. It can also be worn in the bath or shower as it is waterproof. If the alarm user feels unwell or is concerned about their security at home, they can still press the help button on their pendant - as they would with the regular pendant.

How the Careline Service Works

The monitoring team work every day of the year, 24-hours-a-day, to ensure that the alarm users always have somebody to call for help. They have been trained to a high standard and are on-hand to help the elderly.
Once the monitoring team receive an alarm call they will dial through to the base unit and speak to the user via loudspeaker. They'll ask what has happened, assess the situation and call for help.
Family, friends and/or neighbours will be called, depending on who the user chose to act as emergency contacts. If required, the emergency services will also be contacted on the user's behalf.
Any relevant medical information will be shared with the emergency services, as will the code for the key safe - if there is one at the property.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
