The Careline Package
The Base Unit
The Careline alarm consists of two parts: a base unit and pendant button. The base unit allows clear communication between the care team and the alarm user via the built-in microphone and loudspeaker.
The MyAmie Pendant
The MyAmie pendant is worn by the alarm user and is activated by pressing the red face. The button is waterproof, so it can be worn in the shower or bath and has a 100 metre range from the base unit.
Key Safes
For added security in Southport, we would advise purchasing a key safe along with the Careline package. A key safe is a small secure box which is attached to an external wall of the property. The key safe can then house spare keys which are accessed by entering a unique code.
We offer three types of key safe, the Supra C500 (pictured) is our only Police approved key safe which means it is as resistant to an attack as a domestic front door.
We also have Yale Y500 and Masterlock Select Access key safes available. Key safes are integral in emergency situations when a key holder is not able to attend the property as this means an emergency contact or the emergency services can use the key safe to access the property safely, effectively and quickly.

The Care Team will then arrange for assistance usually in the form of emergency contacts, or in the case of a medial emergency the emergency services will be called to the property.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.

The pendant which accompanies the Careline alarm's base unit has some useful features:
