A Simple System
Our alarm system is easy to understand and simple to use.
Careline Alarm Base Unit
The first part of our system is the base unit. This small box needs to be connected the mains power and the telephone line. The alarm user then needs to connect their telephone to the base unit, using the adaptor provided. That's everything connected, the alarm user just needs to press the red button to complete a system test call with our monitoring team. The base unit has a loudspeaker and built-in microphone for clear communication.
Careline Pendant Button
The second part of our system is the pendant button. This sleek device can be worn around the alarm user's neck or wrist, depending on which is more comfortable to them. The pendant is waterproof, which means that it can be worn in the bath or shower. It also has a range of up to 100 metres, which means the alarm user is protected throughout their home and garden. In an emergency, the alarm user can raise an alarm by pressing the red pendant button.
Vibby Fall Detector
For added security in Stevenage we would advise upgrading to the fall detector package. This include the new Vibby Fall Detector, which is worn around the neck. The Vibby automatically detects a fall and sends an alert message through to the monitoring centre. Confirmation that an alert has been raised will be given by an LED light and vibration.
Much like the standard pendant, the Vibby is discreet and stylish. It can also be worn in the bath or shower as it is waterproof. If the alarm user feels unwell or is concerned about their security at home, they can still press the help button on their pendant.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
