The Careline Package
All alarm users in Wales will receive a base unit and pendant.
Careline Base Unit
The Careline base unit for users in Wales allows communication between the alarm user and Care Team - this is done through a loudspeaker and built-in microphone system. The Care Team will answer all alarm activation's via the base unit and arrange help as appropriate.
MyAmie Pendant
The MyAmie Pendant is a small and discreet red button which can be worn around the neck or around the wrist, depending on the alarm user's preference. We advise our alarm users to keep their pendant on at all times to make sure they always have help when they need it.
Vibby Fall Detector
For added security and reassurance we would advise Wales users to upgrade to our fall detector package. The Vibby automatically detects a fall and sends an alert message through to the Care Team.
Much like the MyAmie Pendant, the Vibby is discreet and looks similar to a smartwatch. It is waterproo so can be worn in the bath or shower. If the alarm user feels unwell or is concerned about their security at home without falling, they can still press the help button on their pendant - as they would with the MyAmie Pendant.

All alarm users in Wales will need to have at least one emergency contact on their Careline profile.

In an emergency situation, the Care Team will receive an alert message once the alarm user has pressed their button. Within a matter of seconds, a member of the team will respond and speak with the alarm user over the loudspeaker system on their base unit.
The situation is assessed and the team member will arrange for help. This will include calling for family members, friends and neighbours - otherwise known as emergency contacts. If the alarm user requires medical attention, the monitoring team will also call for the emergency services. Any relevant medical information will also be shared with the paramedics.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
