Home Alarm Base Unit
The home alarm comes with a compact base unit which needs to be plugged into the mains power and telephone socket. This can be done be the alarm user or a loved one - there is no need for an engineer. The base unit has a loudspeaker and microphone system. The monitoring team speak to the alarm user over the loudspeaker, whilst the user responds via the built-in microphone.
Home Alarm Pendant
Alongside the base unit, home alarm users also receive the small pendant button. This device can be worn around the wrist or neck, it's down to the user's personal preference. The pendant is waterproof for use in the bathroom, and has a range capable of working outside in the garden. The pendant has a battery life of seven years, so there is no need for the user to worry about recharging their device.
Vibby Fall Detector Pendant
For those who are prone to falls or suffer from long-term health problems such as arthritis, we'd suggest upgrading to the Fall Detector Pendant.
This device automatically detects when the alarm user has suffered a fall and sends an alarm call to the monitoring team without the user having to do anything.
Much like the standard home alarm pendant, the fall detector (known as the Vibby) is discreet and stylish. It can also be worn in the bath or shower as it is waterproof. If the alarm user feels unwell or is concerned about their security at home, they can still press the help button on their pendant - as they would with the standard pendant button.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency.
The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package.
The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team.
In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
