About Careline365

At Careline365 we are acutely aware of the challenges older people face. As the years advance, health issues can mean that day to day tasks become more difficult. Sometimes this can mean giving up on the idea of living independently altogether. We believe that this doesn’t have to be the way.

Our mission is to help as many people as possible live safe and enjoyable later lives. That’s why we strive to offer our service for the best possible price. We also like to keep things simple. Technology need not be confusing or scary – it can have a huge positive impact on the lives of older people. Read our in-depth guide to learn more about Careline365 and our service.

We work hard to make sure that we are never beaten on price or quality. Please call us for free on +448001013333 to discuss our price guarantee.

Margaret's Story
Margaret’s story is similar to thousands of older women in the UK. Born and raised in East Sussex, she has lived alone since her husband Derek passed away in 2005, and the arthritis in her hip means that she is less mobile than she used to be. Despite this, she is still very independent and enjoys getting out in the garden, and entertaining her three lively grandchildren. Her independence was challenged, however, one morning in the spring of 2011. Margaret was tidying her house as usual when she tripped, lost her balance, and fell to the ground. Embarrassed, but otherwise unharmed, she tried to get up but couldn’t lift herself no matter how hard she tried. Unfortunately half of individuals over the age of 75 fall every year and with the population of 75 year olds expected to double in the next 30 years domestic accidents are a growing problem for the UK’s elderly. Like many others, Margaret has found her solution in a careline alarm from Careline365.

“I was on the floor for over three hours”, says Margaret,“but it felt like days. If it wasn’t for my son popping round to check up on me – well I don’t like to think about it. I don’t need it often, but the alarm gives me and my son real peace of mind. It’s like a safety net, and I’ve found that Careline really do care.”

The Careline Alarm Package

Barnsley-Careline-Alarm-Base-Unit-Box

Careline Base Unit

Alarm users in Barnsley will receive the Lifeline Vi Alarm Base Unit. This device is simply plugged into the telephone socket and the mains power. The telephone itself is connected to the back of the unit, using an adaptor provided. Once connected, users complete a test call with the monitoring team. The base unit has a loudspeaker, which is used by the monitoring team to speak with the alarm user. The alarm user can respond via a built-in microphone. There is also a red help button on the base unit.

Red Pendant Button

Alongside the base unit, alarm users in Barnsley will also receive the discreet pendant button. This device can be worn around the wrist or neck; both attachments are included inside the box. The clever little device is waterproof, which means the alarm user can still wear it whilst they're in the bath or shower. A range of up to 100 metres means that alarm users can still call for help outside in the garden. If the alarm user needs help, day or night, they simply press the red button.

Vibby Fall Detector

Potential Careline users can also upgrade to our Fall Detector package. This special pendant, known as The Vibby, is worn around the neck. The Vibby can automatically detect when the wearer has suffered from a fall in their home. The pendant will send an alert message through to the monitoring centre, without anything being pressed. Confirmation that an alert has been raised will be given by an LED light and vibration. Much like the standard pendant, the Vibby is discreet and stylish. It can also be worn in the bath or shower as it is waterproof. If the alarm user feels unwell or is concerned at home, they can still press the help button on their pendant - as they would with the standard pendant.

Careline FAQs

Our aim is to reassure and give confidence to our users

By choosing a fall detector pendant, you benefit from automatic alerts after a fall. This means you won’t need to press the button if you fall and can’t get up.

The fall detector pendant is programmed to sense when you have fallen. If you do not move within twenty seconds after a fall, the alarm will send an automatic alert to our monitoring centre, and a member of our team will answer your alert and arrange help on your behalf.

Find out more by calling our team on +448001013333.

If you choose one of ourout of home alarm plans, you will benefit from GPS tracking. When your alarm is activated, the GPS feature will provide our monitoring team with your location, allowing them to send the help you need direct to your location.

All pendants are IP67 rated, meaning they are water resistant for up to thirty minutes in one metre of water. This means you can safely continue to wear your pendant in the shower. However, we do not recommend wearing your pendant in the bath, as exposure to soapy water may damage the waterproof seal.

The alarm base unit is not waterproof and should not be exposed to water.

We are committed to helping you feel confident and reassured. That means knowing you can rely on your personal alarm. If you experience any problems with your personal alarm base unit or pendant, call our team on +448001013333 and our team will arrange a replacement.
