How to use a Supra C500 Key Safe
The Supra C500 key safe is one of only two police-approved key safes in the UK. Find out how to use this secure device and feel safe in your home.
Your broadband connection will not be affected by your Careline alarm. Our alarm fits in easily alongside your existing equipment.
The alarm unit is 185 x 122 x 41mm and the pendant is slightly bigger than a £2 coin.
You qualify for VAT relief if you have a disability or a long-term illness and you are buying the product for your own personal or domestic use.
We recommend that you wear your pendant at all times. Your Careline alarm will only work in your property (unless you have our Careline SOS GPS alarm) but it is often simpler to tuck your pendant inside your clothes when you leave the house. This ensures that your alarm will be ready to use again when you return home. Our pendants are also waterproof, so you can even wear them in the shower!
This is not an issue and will not affect you using your Careline alarm. Whilst the alarm unit is very loud and the microphone very sensitive, we understand that there are occasions when our customers will be too far away from the alarm to hear it.
In this case, our Care Team will quickly realise that you are not close to the alarm unit and take action. We will firstly call your landline to check whether you are nearer a telephone. The next step will be contacting your nominated contacts or calling the emergency services.
You only need one alarm unit per property. This plugs directly into your existing phone line. You can use up to six pendants on one box, making a Careline alarm ideal for couples living together.
Once you have placed an order for your Careline alarm, we require some details about the alarm user. We will send you a form that you can fill in online. Alternatively, a paper form will arrive with the alarm. This form will ask for contact details, medical information and emergency contacts. We will need the completed form returned to us before the alarm is ready to use.
Prices shown are VAT exempt. Over 94% of Careline customers qualify for VAT exemption, find out if you qualify.
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency. The Careline service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package. The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team. In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the monitoring team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
