Connecting Your Personal Alarm To Your Internet Router

We recommend connecting your base unit to your internet router using the provided Ethernet cable to ensure your personal alarm has the best signal possible.

Connect the Ethernet cable

Plug one end of the supplied ethernet cable into the 'ETH' socket in the back of your personal alarm base unit. When correctly inserted this will click into place.

Connect to your internet router

Plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into a spare socket on your internet router – you'll hear it click into place. Look for a socket labelled 'Ethernet' or 'LAN'.

Your alarm base unit can now be turned on, and you can continue with the setup.

Please note: the Ethernet cable works alongside your power connection, not instead of it. It simply gives you the strongest signal possible.
