Locating You In An Emergency
Our alarm services that cover you when you're out of the home share your location, in an emergency, with our Care Team by using GPS (Global Positioning System) technology.
Our GPS Personal Alarms all have an internal SIM card, just like a mobile phone. Your location can be found anywhere there is a mobile signal. This means we can send help directly to you, even if you're unable to speak or aren't sure of your exact location.
Whether you're in your garden, at the local shops, visiting family, or even somewhere completely new, your out-of-home Personal Alarm will know where you are, such as our Personal Alarm Watch and GPS Pendant.
No need to worry about remembering addresses or trying to describe where you are when you're feeling unwell or shaken up.
When your personal alarm with location (GPS) tracking is activated, your location appears on our Care Team's screen. They can pinpoint your position if you are out in the countryside walking your dogs, down the shops, or off to visit a friend.
This means emergency services or your nominated emergency contacts can be directed straight to you without any delay.
We take your privacy seriously. Your movements are never tracked day to day. Location sharing is only activated during an emergency call, and solely for the purpose of getting you the right help when you need it most.
Our GPS-enabled alarms need mobile signal to work properly. Without mobile signal, we may not be able to locate you or your alarm may not connect to our Care Team.

For added accuracy at home, our Personal Alarm Watch comes with a home locator that plugs into any socket. This ensures we can pinpoint your location more precisely when inside your home, where mobile signals may occasionally be weaker.
The locator works quietly in the background. Simply plug it in; there's nothing to set up or maintain.
