How we find you in an emergency

Our Alarm Watch and Alarm Pendant both come with our EverNear Anywhere Cover. They're designed to work with you wherever life takes you.

They contain built-in GPS and a SIM card. GPS stands for Global Positioning System; it’s the same satellite technology that powers maps on your phone.

When an alarm call is raised, either because you press your alarm button or because fall detection raises an alert for you, our Care Team is notified straight away.

If you’re using an alarm with EverNear Anywhere Cover, this also allows us to see your location at that moment, helping us work out the best way to get help to you quickly, even if you can’t speak.

Depending on the nature of your emergency, we may respond by contacting your nominated emergency contacts, alerting the emergency services, or both. Our Care Team will assess the situation and act accordingly.

The SIM is included as standard. There's nothing to top up, and no extra cost.

We don’t track your movements day to day. Location information is only shared when an alarm is raised, so our Care Team can help you quickly. Some details may remain visible for a short time after an emergency call for safety and record‑keeping.

Staying connected

Our GPS alarms rely on mobile signal to connect to our Care Team and share your location. In areas with no mobile coverage, the alarm won't be able to reach us.

If you're unsure about signal where you live or spend time, our team are happy to talk it through before you commit to anything.

When you first receive your device, you'll need to test your alarm in each area of your home and, if you have one, your garden. This confirms that a call can be raised wherever you spend time and gives you confidence that your cover is working as expected.

If you find any areas where the signal is unreliable, please contact us before relying on the device in those locations.

Where does EverNear Anywhere Cover work?

Anywhere there's a mobile signal.

The local shops, a friend's house, a walk in the countryside. Coverage depends on the mobile network used by your device; if you're unsure whether your usual areas are covered, our team are happy to check before you join our service.

At home: extra accuracy with the Home Locator

Our Alarm Watch comes with a small Home Locator that plugs into any standard socket. It helps us pinpoint a more accurate position inside your home, where mobile signals can sometimes be less reliable.

The setup is quick. Just plug it in, and once you've completed your initial device test, it works quietly in the background.
