Safety at Home - 24/7

Smoke detectors should appear in everyone's home as a safety measure. Careline's smoke detectors provide extra safety as they're linked to the Careline Alarm Service.

This means that they are monitored by our highly-trained monitoring team, who work 365 days a year. Should the smoke detector be activated, an alert call will be made from the Careline Alarm through to the monitoring team.

The smoke detector will also make a noise within the home like a standard device. Once an alert has been raised, a team member will respond instantly to try and communicate with the alarm user over the loudspeaker.

The monitoring team, available 24/7, will call for the emergency services after assessing the situation. If they don't hear a response from the resident then they will automatically call for help.
