The Careline fall detector differs from our standard pendant in one key area, it automatically detects a sudden drop or fall from the alarm user.

Our service relies on your emergency contacts, or the emergency services, being able to access your home.
If you think that you might be in a situation where you will be unable to get up to let someone into your property then a Key Safe is the obvious answer.
A Key Safe is a secure box, that goes on the outside of your house.

Emergency Contacts
All alarm users will need to have at least one emergency contact on their Careline profile.
Using the SOS Alarm Watch
Using our alarm is quick and simple. If the user feels unwell, is concerned for their well-being, or has a fall, they simply press the red help button on their SOS alarm watch.
This sends an alarm call through to the monitoring team. A team member will respond via the base unit within a few seconds.
They'll ask the alarm user what has happened and assess the situation.
They'll then begin contacting loved ones who have been selected by the alarm user to act as their emergency contacts.
The monitoring team will inform them of the situation and ask them to attend urgently.
If the alarm user requires medical attention, the emergency services will also be contacted by the monitoring team.

What is Careline?
The Careline alarm is designed to help older, frail or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they always have somebody to help them in an emergency. The Piper Alarm service includes an alarm base unit, which plugs into the telephone line, and a comfortable pendant which goes around the wrist or neck. All attachments are included in the Careline package. The Careline alarm can easily be installed and tested by the user. Once the test is complete, the user will be connected to our 24-hour care team. In an emergency, the alarm user simply presses the red button on their pendant and the Care Team will respond. The situation is assessed over the base unit's loudspeaker and help if found in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
